EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. –  Iglide® H370 plastic plain bearings from igus® Inc.  are specially designed for wet environments and high-temperature applications. Iglide H370 is unaffected by elements such as moisture, dirt and dust and, like igus’ entire family of iglide bearings, is maintenance-free, corrosion-resistant, UV-resistant and requires no lubrication.

In continuous motion, iglide H370 operates within a temperature range of –40 to +392 degrees Fahrenheit, which enables it to outperform standard plastic bearings. With a moisture absorption rating of 0.0%, iglide H370 remains impervious to factors such as humidity or constant submersion in water. Iglide H370 is ideal for underwater applications, bottle-filling equipment, marine applications, dishwashers and applications requiring frequent wash downs.

Iglide bearings are a convenient, cost-effective alternative to bronze, metal-backed and custom injection-molded bearings. Igus has developed more than 20 high-performance, engineered polymers each with its own unique set of properties, and with more than 6,000 bearing sizes and styles in stock, igus can provide a bearing for any occasion. Iglide bearings can be used in diverse environments such as high-loads, chemicals, dirt and dust.
