Free October 24th event focused on attracting & retaining next generation of manufacturing talent
Bishop-Wisecarver Group (BWG), a family of WBENC-certified companies that works with manufacturers to engineer, produce, and build custom complex assemblies, linear motion solutions and optimal embedded intelligence systems, is helping to sponsor the Science, Technology, Engineering, & Production (STEP) Forward: Bay Area Women in Manufacturing Forum on Tuesday, October 24. This free event includes discussions and networking targeted at advancing the role of women in manufacturing. | |
WHAT: | The STEP Forward networking series is part of The Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Ahead initiative designed to empower women in manufacturing and provide attendees an opportunity to discuss best practices and solutions to attract and retain women in the industry. The goal is to mobilize attendees to act as a catalyst for change within their company and community and to inspire the next generation of talent to pursue careers in the industry.
The event focus is a Women in Manufacturing Forum where Pamela Kan, president of BWG, will join other key industry leaders in discussing a range of topics from work-life balance to the perception of manufacturing. |
