Bishop-Wisecarver Opens China Office

January 15, 2009 By Editor Leave a Comment

Pittsburg, CA – – Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation, manufacturer of the original DualVee® guide wheel and industry leader in guided motion technology, announced today that it has opened an office in Shanghai to expand the company’s global reach. The new office, led by Jennifer Ye, who has extensive experience working in import, export, and domestic sales of industrial products, provides sales and customer support to Bishop-Wisecarver’s growing China customer base.

Bishop-Wisecarver has already forged key business relationships with China-based distributors. These alliances and the regional branch provide customers in the region with local service, local inventory, lower shipping costs, and faster shipping times.

“The China market is key to our global strategy,” says Ray Harrington, Bishop-Wisecarver’s VP of Business Development. “We see abundant opportunity to advance Bishop-Wisecarver’s presence in Asia, and the opening of the Shanghai office reinforces our commitment to current and potential partners and customers in the region. Local sales support and technical expertise significantly improves the customer experience with better service, improved communication, and reduced sales cycles.”
