The MTB055 Series of linear actuators from PBC Linear measures 55 mm x 55 mm (2.17 in x 2.17 in) and is constructed from an anodized aluminum, making it resistant to corrosion for better performance in severe environments.

A qualified, clean and easy installation can be facilitated, as the outer surfaces of the actuator are precision extruded, thus, providing flush mounting on both sides and the base.

The full body length of the actuator along with the integrated T-slots ensures easy mounting on numerous orientations as well as for ancillary items to be mounted directly to its body.

MTB055 linear actuator is ideal for various harsh industrial applications such as medical, packaging and automotive as well as food and beverage where the actuator has a proven track record. The MTB Series has become PBC Linear’s most versatile linear actuator.

This linear actuator has a stroke length and carriage load of up to 6 m (20 ft) and 1850 N (416 lbf) respectively. Maximum moments can reach up to 120 Nm (1062 lb in) while speed is up to 3 m/s (118 in/s).

The steel-reinforced timing belt of this actuator provides high acceleration, force and speed, which have long travel length and high repeatable positioning. With the use of belt drive systems, this actuator operates quietly with low maintenance.

MTB055 linear actuator’s ball guided rail system enables high accuracy and rigidity as well as low friction and vibration. A stainless steel strip with magnetic seals integrated within the carriage keeps the dirt and grime out of the system as well as other particulates.
