MINIRAIL & MINISCALE delivers fast, accurate production process

Schneeberger (www.schneeberger.com) has introduced a miniature guideway that features an ultra-high-precision integral, optical distance measuring system.

Ideal for space-constricted environments, the MINISCALE is economical to use as it helps achieve more accurate and faster production process. Enabling compact designs, the microscopy scanning stage is almost five times lighter than traditional designs.

Meanwhile, the company’s MINIRAIL series represents the newest breed of miniature guideways that are ideally suited for use in sophisticated applications. Aside from delivering smooth operation, the extremely robust guideways also demonstrates reliability and precision in every application.

In addition, the material selection, design and surface finish of the ball entry zone and recirculating element ensures low pulsation, effectively resulting to smooth running.

The MINIRAIL series also provide the highest process stability with accelerations of 300 m/s² (30 g) and speeds of 5 m/s. Featuring interchangeable carriages, it’s risk of contamination is relatively low due to the low clearance between the rail and carriage.

Other advantages of MINIRAIL include low travel pulsation, high load carrying capacity and low impact sensitivity.
