Nippon Pulse (www.nipponpulse.com) introduces the first linear servomotor specifically designed for the ultra-high precision market. Offering an acceleration force of up to 3100N, the S605 Linear Shaft Motor also delivers a continuous force of up to 780N.
The motor’s simple structure allows it to achieve sub-micron resolution, use all created magnetic flux, minimize heat generation while eliminating cogging issues. The stiffness of the S605 is 100 times greater than that offered by comparable motors.
With shaft diameter measuring 60.5 mm, the S605 Linear Shaft Motor is offered with one of three kinds of windings (double, triple, quadruple). Its acceleration force range from 1000N to 3100N, while its acceleration current range between 34 and 35A. The S605’s acceleration current and force can be maintained for up to 40 seconds.
Available with effective strokes from 200 mm to 2000 mm, the Linear Shaft Motor is offered in 18 different sizes, between four mm and 60.5 mm.
Aside from a continuous force ranging from 420 to 780N, the S605 also features a non-critical air gap of 1.75 mm, a rated voltage of 240 V and a continuous current that range from 8.4 to 8.8A.
Compared to other linear motors, the S605 Linear Shaft Motor is 50 percent more energy efficient, making it suitable for use in industrial applications requiring energy efficiency, high precision and high force.
